Job Description:
Chief Financial Officer We are partnering with a construction
company in search of a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the
financial strategy and operations of the company. The ideal
candidate will excel in risk management and financial reporting.
This role is essential for guiding strategic decisions and will
require close collaboration with other executives to drive growth
and enhance financial performance.ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive
the company's financial strategy and planning, aligned with the
overall corporate strategy and financial goals. Mentor and lead the
finance team, handling recruitment, training, and performance
evaluations.Promote a culture of financial discipline and
accountability within the organization.Work with other departments
to support company objectives and initiatives.Create and implement
financial strategies that align with the company's long-term
goals.Manage the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and
financial plans.Analyze financial performance to provide insights
for business decisions.Oversee the creation and presentation of
financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and
cash flow statements.Ensure compliance with financial regulations
and accounting standards.Examine financial data to identify trends,
variances, and areas for improvement.Identify and assess financial
risks, develop strategies to mitigate them, and report on business
capacity and performance to the executive team and ownership.Ensure
financial controls and processes are effective and compliant with
regulations.Manage insurance, investments, and other financial risk
activities.Supervise financial operations like accounting, payroll,
and procurement.Implement and monitor financial systems to ensure
accuracy and efficiency.Drive initiatives to improve financial
performance and operational efficiency.Collaborate with Team Leads
to explore margin enhancement opportunities.Build and maintain
relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, auditors,
and financial institutions.Communicate financial performance and
strategies to the board and executive team.Represent the company in
financial discussions and negotiations.Qualifications Bachelor's
degree in accounting or a related field is required, master's
degree is preferred. 10 years of experience in financial
management.CPA is required.Strong understanding of financial
regulations, accounting principles, and risk management.Proficiency
in Microsoft Office and in accounting applications
(server/cloud-based), software requirements, and
conversions.Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, is
preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a
