Energy Market Manager

Job Description:

A company is looking for an Energy Market Manager to oversee Energy Market Operations and dispatch functions within its Virtual Power Plant business.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of Energy Market Operations
Analyze market trends to optimize energy portfolios and reduce risks
Provide regular reporting on key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
10+ years of experience in energy operations and commodity risk management
Strong working knowledge of Power ISO markets such as CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, NYISO
High level of proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Python and SQL
Proven leadership experience in motivating and inspiring teams
