The Greer Group is hiring an HR Generalist for our client
located in Louisburg, NC!

This is a Direct hire opportunity.
Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
Pay: $40,000-$50,000 (Depending on experience).
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR
operations in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with
company policies and labor laws while fostering a positive
workplace culture. This role involves employee relations, benefits
administration, recruitment, onboarding, training, and HR
compliance. The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for
employees and managers, providing guidance and support to drive
engagement and performance.
Recruiting
Successfully filtering through candidates and scheduling
interviews.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and
coordinate recruitment efforts.
Post job openings, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and
participate in the selection process.
Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding, ensuring a smooth
transition for new employees.
More heavy on recruiting. Ok with training to them.
Admin task
Track and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover, retention, and
absenteeism.
Prepare reports and provide insights to management on workforce
trends and HR initiatives.
Work with the EHS team to ensure compliance with workplace safety
regulations.
Assist in coordinating workers' compensation claims and
return-to-work programs.
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide
guidance on policies and procedures.
Support a positive work environment by addressing employee
relations matters promptly and professionally.
Help safety team with paperwork Some experience with EHS.
Assist in HR audits and ensure company policies align with current
employment laws.
Requirements:
HS GED.
3-5 years experience in manufacturing/industrial plant.
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR practices.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast paced
environment
Ability to walk the production floor and engage with employees.
May require occasional travel or company meetings.
