Summary:We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with
a strong blend of account management and pre-sales expertise to
drive revenue growth, maintain key client relationships, and
support technical sales efforts. This role requires a strategic
thinker who can identify new business opportunities, nurture
existing accounts, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver
compelling pre-sales solutions, POCs, and manage deals to
signoff.Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Account
Management:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand business with existing
clients and acquire new customers.
- Build a healthy pipeline, penetrate new accounts, negotiate,
and win deals.
- Orchestrate and lead complex sales processes (including
managing POCs, commercial proposals, RFx process).
- Develop and maintain key relationships with customers and
prospects through disciplined selling techniques; this is a
hands-on position where we expect to have their own relationships
in the accounts.
- Develop and maintain effective communications and liaison
relationships with staff and field personnel that support effective
achievement of regional and corporate goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing
their needs, resolving issues, and identifying
upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews and provide insights on market
trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to achieve
revenue and profitability targets.
- Understand the 'bigger picture' and business drivers around RAN
automation, optimization, and 5G.Pre-Sales & Technical Sales
Support:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to
understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and
workshops to prospects and existing clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, RFP/X responses, and business
cases to executive stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to align
solutions with customer needs and business goals.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on client interactions
to enhance offerings.Experience Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of relevant field sales experience in Automation,
SON, Enterprise Telco software technologies, with a minimum of 5+
years in business development, account management, or pre-sales in
a B2B environment.
- Relevant technical competency in the network automation and
automation domains to enable recognition and competent discussion
of related issues and their solutions.
- Track record of exceptional and consistent quota achievement
through management of a region.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic sales plans in
the market, selling to major carriers.
- Strong ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and
drive revenue growth.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and consultative sales
skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and services, with
experience in pre-sales or solution selling.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, PPT, and usage of databases,
analysis tools, and standard reporting tools, sales forecasting,
and account planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a
results-driven mindset.
- This position may require travel; represent the company at
industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Self-driven and self-motivated leader.
- Team player and keen learner.Organizational Alignment:
- Reports to Head of Business Development APAC.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related
field. MBA desirable.
