Job Description:
A company is looking for a Scheduling Specialist I to manage
patient scheduling and related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Complete appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations
based on patient preferences and physician guidelines
Collect and maintain accurate patient registration, demographic,
and insurance information
Process multi-channel messages related to patient and physician
requests
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required
Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
Proficient in computer usage, including navigating multiple
programs and monitors
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
