Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading tool manufacturer in the Wake Forest area who is looking for a Plastic Injection Mold Designer to join their team. This is a direct hire position offering excellent benefits, working 1st shift Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Design and optimize plastic injection molds for medical, bottle molding, die casting, and tooling applications.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mold, machine, and process issues using CMM inspection equipment.
Create CNC programs and code for machining operations to ensure accuracy in the finished product.
Analyze and inspect molds, components, and products for quality assurance.
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to solve fabrication process issues.
Follow ISO 9001 best practices and documentation for mold building.
Select appropriate metals and materials to meet project specifications.
Design medical manufacturing fixtures and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in injection mold design and development, preferably in the medical device/component industry.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling/design (SolidWorks preferred).
Strong knowledge of mold making, CNC programming, and machining processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mold-related issues.
Experience designing jigs and fixtures.
Strong mechanical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
