Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturer in the Zebulon area who is hiring a Maintenance Lead to join their team. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, the ability to oversee team members, and the ability to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain high operational standards. This is a direct hire opportunity working day shift Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

Lead the maintenance team to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
Ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical components, and electrical systems.
Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation enhancements.
Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components while optimizing costs.
Train and mentor team members to build technical expertise and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain maintenance documentation, including equipment records, maintenance logs, and technical manuals.
Oversee compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized building maintenance and repair services.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5-10+ years of maintenance experience in a highly automated manufacturing facility.
Candidates must have a strong knowledge maintaining and troubleshooting conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
Candidates should have the ability to lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
Candidates must be familiar troubleshooting PLCs.
Relevant technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
Candidates must have a continuous improvement mindset.
